Orange Clouds (Flex-Band)
Written in 2022, Orange Clouds is perfect for younger ensembles that are still developing their band sound. It is a fun work that is short, but beautiful. The composition is based off of at sundown that I saw one time, but more specifically the clouds that surrounded. As I looked at the sky the colors were so bold and vibrant, but the sight that stuck with me the most, was the sun filling up the clouds and making the clouds orange. I began composing the work that same day and finished it in about 5 hours.
